The Art of Exquisite Craftsmanship
By applying KINTSUGI, a traditional Japanese technique, we elevate imperfect pearls—once unseen and discarded—into fine jewelry. This is our unique approach. KINTSUGI is an ancient lacquer art, rooted in tradition. By utilizing lacquer, a natural material, we practice 100% sustainable craftsmanship.

Flaws into Art
KINTSUGI, established 500 to 600 years ago during the Muromachi period, is not just a method of repair. Rather than concealing cracks or chips, it embraces these imperfections as part of the object’s uniqueness, accentuating them with gold to create new value. This technique reflects the Zen philosophy that "all things are imperfect and transient," and has gained global attention. Through exceptional craftsmanship, we apply KINTSUGI to imperfect pearls, transforming them into distinctive works of art.

Unparalleled Mastery
Applying KINTSUGI to pearls smaller than 10mm is no easy task. After countless trials and errors, we have perfected the technique of applying KINTSUGI to imperfect pearls. Each pearl is unique in size, shape, and condition, including areas where the pearl layers have worn away. As a result, every single pearl we work with is one of a kind, making each piece an original. The fact that every creation is unique, with its own distinct character, is what sets our products apart.

While the beauty of gold often receives the most attention, it is lacquer that plays the most crucial role in KINTSUGI. Even in the KINTSUGI of pearls, we remain committed to traditional techniques using natural lacquer rather than chemical adhesives.

Lacquer Extraction
The lacquer tree is extremely delicate, so lacquer extraction is done entirely by hand. To minimize stress on the tree, the process is carried out once every four days over a period of about six months per tree.

A Drop of Blood
A lacquer tree cultivated for over 10 years yields only about 200ml of lacquer on average. For this reason, it has long been said in Japan that "a drop of lacquer is as precious as a drop of blood."

Crafted by Nature
Our jewelry is crafted from lacquer and pearls, both carefully nurtured over time in the abundant natural environment and harvested by hand, capturing the perfect harmony of nature and craftsmanship.
